Early Childhood/PreK Volunteer

What are the basic responsibilities?  
• Spend time talking and playing with the children
• Assist the teacher as needed
• Set a good example of a Christ follower  
• Encourage and support fellow volunteers
Serving Times:  Sunday mornings 8-9:30, 9:30-10:45, or 10:45-12, once a month, June-May    
Requirements:  
• Must complete a background check  
• Must be 18 or older
• High schoolers may serve with Student Ministry staff recommendation

The purpose of this ministry is to provide an effective learning environment that guides and involves the early learner in Bible teaching.    
What are the basic responsibilities?  
• Build trust and security with child and parent  
• Be “hands on” for all classroom situation and needs  
• Come to class prepared to tell the story in a fun and engaging way
• Responsible to direct and manage the classroom schedule    
• Set a good example of a Christ follower    
• Encourage and support fellow volunteers  
• Communicate needs and concerns to Preschool Director  
Serving Times:  Sunday mornings 8-9:30, 9:30-10:45, or 10:45-12, once a month, June-May
